"I was driving
the car to a friends house and it was puttering then dies, i
smell gas and smoke look in the rear view see smoke and the the
oil light came on. I pulled over and grabbed my valubles (camera
and umbrella). and sat back and watched. A trucker had a small
extinguisher and tried to help but it was to late.
From what i can guess the new Bigger injectors that i
installed over the winter did not seat properly, and leaked
fuel. My friend Chris feels it dripped (poured) onto the
distributor and thus caused the FIRE."
